National Diabetes Prevention Program

Are you worried about your weight and health? Did you know 1 out of 3 adults has prediabetes? Undiagnosed and untreated prediabetes increases risk for diabetes, heart disease and stroke. If you’re interested in preventing diabetes, join CSU’s Kendall Reagan Nutrition Center for the year-long National Diabetes Prevention Program.

What to expect:

  • This successful program includes information, resources and support for improving nutrition, physical activity, stress management and other activities to help you prevent diabetes.
  • Cooking class, grocery store tour, group support, CDC-approved curriculum and more!
  • Classes meet Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 pm, starting January 16th
  • Weekly meetings for first 4 months, then bimonthly to monthly meetings for remaining 8 months.
